Miss Brooklyn’s Runner-Up Takes Over
So it looks like New York just did to Frank Gehry in Brooklyn what it did to Daniel Libeskind three years ago in lower Manhattan. I’m a little unhappy about the new, somewhat less intense direction the Atlantic Yards project seems to be taking, but given Gehry’s recent behavior (and continuing problems with public space), maybe he needed an attitude adjustment on this scale.
